Digital Procurement World (DPW) is looking for a Conference Sales Executive (or a DPW Growth Specialist, as we’d call you around here) to join our team full-time to make sure the launch of Digital Procurement World will be a success. You’ll particularly love this position if you have affinity with technology, and have a passion for startups & entrepreneurship. This absolutely incredible opportunity is to join the startup team of the world’s largest digital procurement conference at a really exciting time of growth and development for this brand.

Purpose and future outlook of this role:

The DPW Conference Sales Executive is responsible for successfully selling the DPW value proposition ensuring the commercial success of our launch conference through delegate acquisition. Our company will grow significantly in size over the coming 12 months. To achieve our growth plans, our aim is to develop this person into a sales lead taking accountability for both new business and the development of a sales development associate.


In this role, you will need to:

  • Close new business consistently at or above quota level
  • Serve as a brand enthusiast for DPW
  • Follow up on inbound and outbound leads
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business
  • Work collaboratively with marketing to execute sales strategy
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future


Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • You’re fluent in English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills. You might not even speak German at all. Totally fine with us since our community is international, as long as you live here or plan to move to Germany and have a work visa
  • Able to plan and organise
  • Internet and social media savvy
  • Confident and positive mindset
  • Disciplined attitude
  • Able to deal with rejection
  • Self-motivated and goal driven
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with CRM (salesforce) a plus but not required
  • Coachability – You are humble, acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses and take feedback well
